QCI #047 - Gold Always Beats Inflation, and the S&P 500 in 2025

Let's Talk Economics!

Courtesy of Carbon Finance: Had you invested $10,000 in either Gold or the S&P 500 in the year 2000, Gold at $283, and held it until the end of 2025, when Gold Futures closed at $4,562, today your investment would be worth $161,201. Had you invested in the S&P 500 in 2000 at $1,455 and held until today, when it closed at $6,930, you would have $47,630.
