The Bean Belt is the geographical region around the world suitable for growing coffee plants, located primarily around the equator, between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. It is where most of the world's coffee is grown. This area boasts an ideal climate, characterized by tropical temperatures, high-quality soil, and ample rainfall, which is complemented by specific altitudes and seasonal rain/dry periods that are essential for coffee cultivation.

The top five coffee-producing nations are Brazil, Vietnam, Colombia, Indonesia, and Ethiopia, which account for 75% of the world's total coffee production.

The United States imports ~33% of its total coffee from Brazil, ~20% from Colombia, ~8% from Vietnam, ~7% from Honduras, ~6% from Guatemala, with the remaining import percentages coming from Nicaragua, Indonesia, and other countries.
