#089 - US President Donald J. Trump's Board of Peace Responses
Let's Talk Geopolitics!
Courtesy of Visual Capitalist: Trump has voiced a desire to leave the United Nations and create a new International alliance similar to the UN, with terms more favorable to the current US Political Initiative, steering away from a controversial globalist agenda viewed as contrary to US interests.
Established in January 2026, Donald Trump's "Board of Peace" is a US-led international organization chaired by President Trump himself, designed to oversee the reconstruction of Gaza and manage pertinent regional conflicts. It aims to operate as an alternative, more agile body to the UN, focusing on private investment in the region for re-development, featuring a controversial $1 billion entry fee for permanent membership.
It was initially established to solidify a ceasefire, rebuild Gaza, and controversially, manage its transition to a new administration. This organization's role in replacing the UN with Trump's control as Chair, with full authority to address global issues, is also a topic of debate, creating reluctance for current UN members to join.
